
Before he died Michael Parkinson showed his support for Emma Jane Taylor by agreeing to have his photo taken with her in her NotMyShame tee-shirt. She had asked if he would prefer to cover up the message (on the tee-shirt) but he declined. Adding his support by this simple act of kindness gave many hope.

Coronation Street actor Charlie* Lawson aka Jim MacDonald announced to the world that he was going to stand by Emma-Jane Taylor and the NotMyShame campaign in 2023. Since then survivors around the world have joined hands. Charlie's wife bravely shared her story with the actor.
Actor Stuart Antony bravely spoke out in 2022. He was abused hundreds of times by a paedophile in a five-year ordeal and waived his right to anonymity to speak about his fight for justice. In the Metro news he was quoted as saying "I suffered in silence, no one should have to do that.

Pobol y Cwm actress Sera Cracroft spoke publicly for the first time about being sexually assaulted as a child in an interview with S4C's Sgwrs Dan y Lloer. She says that her main reason for speaking publicly is to try and help others who have suffered similar experiences. She supports the campaign.

Actress Nadia Jamil has been an avid campaigner against child abuse and took the opportunity to directly address the matter itself. She has openly expressed her support for the NotMyShame movement and it's leader Emma-Jane Taylor; calling for others to join hands in support of the cause.
