Survivors feeling able to share messages on the 1st May and using the HASHTAG #NotMyShame, goes a long way to support other survivors around the world, to help them know they are not alone.
We are on Facebook, Instagram and X. We are mainly active around the 1st May on the campaign day. All of our social media is found at NotMyShameUK. Please use this tag @NotMyShameUK to raise the volume online and to help others hear of our campaign and mission.

Survivors around the world share their painted rocks, using the #NotMyShame along withe their own messages. Our hope is that by spreading messages this way we can reach more survivors, giving more hope and support to anyone struggling in silence because of CSA.
At 11am on the 1st May, survivors around the world (wherever they are) hold a minute silence to show support and strength for those who have been abused as children. The minute silence represents the childhoods that were taken, lost years that have caused much disruption.
We encourage the world to light a candle (and keep it lit) on the 1st May to show support and respect for survivors of CSA, and to acknowldege the continued silence of CSA that continues to affect millions of children around the world.
Wearing NotMyShame ribbons on the 1st May shares the important message of the campaign and encourages converation by those wearing them. We encourage many supporters of survivors to stand with us wearing ribbons.

If you feel able to wear a tee-shirt on the 1st May we are grateful for your strength. But only if you feel able to - it is a big deal to wear this tee-shirt, we know it is not easy for survivos to do.
